PeerConnect is a recruitment firm in the financial sector. We do selection and recruitment for organizations and help professionals find a suitable job. In order to find the right candidates for employers and to help professionals find the right job, it is necessary that certain information is shared with us. Only the necessary data to provide the best possible service will be collected. PeerConnect will make every effort to handle these confidential data as carefully as possible, with the aim to protect your privacy.

Method of data collection

We collect your data in different ways:

  • When you visit our website
  • Contactform; you enter your details in one of the contactforms on our website
  • Contact by email; for example, you indicate by email that you want to be represented by us in your search for a new job
  • Agreement; your organization wants to use the services of PeerConnect

In order to be able to offer our service to you as well as possible, it is necessary to collect certain information from you. What data this is and why we do this is described below.

Professional

To assist you as a professional in your search for a suitable job, it is necessary for PeerConnect to collect and process the following data:

  • Name, address and place of residence
  • Date of birth / age and gender
  • Contact information, such as (mobile) telephone number and email address
  • Curriculum Vitae
  • Information regarding your future new position (your wishes and ambitions)
  • Your availability

Your details are collected and stored by PeerConnect because we want to assist you in your quest for your new job. This means that we want to inform you, as soon as we find suitable vacancies for you, be able to assess whether you are suitable for the relevant vacancy, to prepare you as well as possible for your interviews with employers and to ensure that you eventually get the best possible offer from your future employer.

Employers

PeerConnect stores contact information from organizations that use PeerConnect's services. This can be the following information:

  • Organization name
  • Address data
  • Contact name
  • Phone Number
  • Email address

The storage and use of this data is necessary in order to serve a client as well as possible and to ensure that communication during the recruitment process is as smooth as possible.

With whom we share your data

PeerConnect shares your information with clients, for example if we believe that you are a suitable candidate for a particular vacancy. However, we will always ask your permission first. Data from an employer can be shared with candidates, for example when a candidate has been invited for an interview. PeerConnect may be obliged to provide certain information, for example at the request of the Court or if a public authority, such as the tax authorities, is requesting it.

How long we store your data

Your details will be kept by PeerConnect as long as you wish to use the services of PeerConnect. Even after we have found you a job, we will keep you in our database so we can continue to assist you during your career. If you do not wish to use our services any longer and want your data to be removed from our database, it can be made known at any time via info@peerconnect.nl or by phone +31 207735535.

What rights you have

How we protect your data

PeerConnect makes every effort to store your data as safely as possible so that unauthorized access is excluded as much as possible. Our database is manually secured and our website uses SSL encryption. In this way all data traffic on our website is routed via HTTPS, a secure connection, and duplication of content is avoided.

Cookies

A cookie is a small (text) file that is placed on the computer of the website visitor. It is mainly used to recognize you. For example, login data can be stored so that you do not have to log in again the next time you visit the site. This can make a website more userfriendly.

There are three types of cookies. They are described below. Whether or not PeerConnect uses these is mentioned as well.

PeerConnect does not (yet) have a login page but does use this type of cookie. In doing so we try to make our website more userfriendly.
  • Analytical Cookies: These cookies measure the data you find, for example, in Google Analytics, such as the number of visitors of a site, the time spend on your website, and which pages of your website they view. PeerConnect does not (yet) use this. This might change in the future. If so, an announcement will be made on the website and the privacy statement will be changed accordingly.
  • Tracking cookies: These cookies are used for marketing purposes only. For example, they store the surfing behavior of a website visitor in a database. In this way, content and advertisements can later be tailored to the surfing behavior. Based on this, newsletters are often sent. PeerConnect does not use this.
